International operations and arrests
- European operation coordinated by Europol (April 2025): A joint operation between Turkey, Belgium, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands led to the arrest of 234 people, accused of international drug trafficking, money laundering and other serious crimes. Assets worth approximately USD 341 million were seized.
- Arrests in the Netherlands (February 2025): In Noord-Brabant, four people were arrested on drug trafficking and money laundering charges. Authorities searched 29 homes and businesses in the regions of Noord-Brabant, Gelderland and Limburg.

Seizures in Dutch ports
- Port of Rotterdam (2024): Customs authorities seized approximately 38,000 kg of cocaine, a 40% decrease compared to the previous year. Despite the reduction in overall volume, the number of seizures increased, indicating a strategy by traffickers to split shipments to reduce risks.
- Port of Moerdijk: One of the most significant operations led to the seizure of 3,097 kg of cocaine hidden in a telescopic crane coming from South America.
